You know that strategy of playing downer music to get rid of guests who are still lingering at 2 a.m. and show no signs of departing? I think the international community needs to install a ring of speakers around Libya and blast The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald. It's time to leave Gaddafi; the party's over.

What would the Buddha have done?

What would the Buddha have done if he had a coworker he had started to dislike intensely, a coworker he no longer trusted, a coworker who had taken to implying, in front of the boss, that, because of some initiatives the Buddha started, he and the coworker (but really, it was all the Buddha's fault) were backing out of commitments they made to other people, even though that wasn't the case?

What would the Buddha have done if he and his coworker shared the same email account and the coworker criticized the emails the Buddha sent, in a certain instance saying one email made her cringe?

What would the Buddha have done if he discovered that, instead of making wonderful music together, which they had assured those who interviewed them would be the case if they were hired, he and his coworker produced a discordant cacophony similar to a group of six year olds playing the violin for the first time?

What would the Buddha have done if he thought the only way to make what had become a nightmare revert to a dream job was to off the coworker?

Please, please, please say he would have offed the coworker.
